Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a Huddersfield based client who operate internationally and are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to join their business.
Our client is looking for a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Senior Finance Manager/Accountant and we feel would ideally suit a first time mover from practice. 
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements, in accordance with IFRS.
Full ownership of the month-end close process ensuring on time delivery of all internal and external reporting requirements.
Responsibility for the accuracy and control of the General Ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Manage and oversee VAT compliance and reporting.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
Key point of contact for annual statutory and control audits
Key point of contact for external tax partners
Cashflow reporting and forecasting.
Management and development of accounting team
Support of projects and initiatives as assigned, providing financial expertise and governance.
Support wider finance team as appropriate as a senior member of the team
Person Specification:
