About the Role: Supply Desk is working with a Secondary School based in Horsham that is seeking a full-time History teacher starting from September 2024 on a long-term contract, with the school looking to make the role permanent for the right person. The School is seeking an excellent History teacher who will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4. They are looking for a History teacher with good classroom management skills who gets on well with students and staff. You will be a reliable and professional teacher who is fully committed to the contract. The school is happy to consider experienced History teachers, as well as NQTs and ECTs looking for a role in a supportive department.
About the School: This excellent Secondary School is based in Horsham and has success at the heart of everything they do. They promote a positive learning environment and ensure everybody in their community is supported.
The Candidate:
Deliver high-quality History lessons in Key Stage 3 and 4 and build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
Monitor pupil progress for all lessons, keeping records that include assessment outcomes and targets for History set at regular intervals in line with school policy, to enable all pupils to reach their full potential.
Have experience teaching the History curriculum.
Have the desire to join and become part of a successful History department.
