The RolenSat directly with salespeople and originators, opportunity to see how your projects directly impact PnL- become a real partner in the business.nDesk is a new build with the financial backing of an already successful business: opportunity to work with exceptional people / tools and make your long-term mark on a new desk.nDesk aligned projects but with a highly technical slant- see below.nEnd-to-end oversight of quantitative model R&D. (Data sourcing, prototyping, documentation, productionisation, scaling).nResearch tooling in Python.nPricing of new instruments. Contribution to structured power transactions.
Requirementsn5-12 years of experience in quantitative strategist role or equivalent. (Quantitative Developer, Desk Strategist, Pricing / Modelling Quant).nPython expertise.nExperience with risk engines and pricing systems.nCommodities experience. (Power & gas experience highly desirable.)nAppetite to move into a commercial role: able to articulate the technical challenges of your previous projects, as much as the impact they had on business.
