Risk Application Support Analyst

Referment are looking for a Risk Application Support Analyst to join a global multi-strategy investment firm, supporting their risk management teams, specifically a large team of Risk Analysts.


The Risk Application Support Analyst will be supporting the risk management teams in troubleshooting and implementing their code in a cloud-based risk platform that relies on Jupyter Notebooks. You will be providing 1st and 2nd line support for all risk applications and roll out and educate end-users on new product implementations.


We are looking for someone who has experience in an application support position with an understanding of Risk. Other requirements include:

  • Python development experience, including packages such as Pandas, NumPy, and Conda.
  • Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills (MSSQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Background in investment banking, advisory, or relevant financial technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.


Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with risk analytics platforms (e.g., Risk Metrics, Axioma, Barra).
  • Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Exposure to large-scale distributed systems and commercial scheduling tools (ActiveBatch).
