Personal qualities

  • you must be responsible whilst on site with great attention to safety details, have great attention to details. with a keen eye.
  • ability to have flexible hours
  • Able to work on own if needed to install solar PV systems onto roofs
  • able to install small electrical equipment's inside a residential/ commercial property

Key responsibilities

  • install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for systems.
  • install safety and distribution components, such as resistors, switches, circuit breakers ect
  • Install fully solar system at residential/ commercial property
  • To mesh and clean solar panels
  • connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
  • perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units requirements.
  • prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
  • execute plans of electrical wiring for a while function

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Solar Installations qualification
  • ECS card
  • 18th Edition
  • Test and Inspect (2391)
  • have a van with you
  • to have your own long ladder
  • valid license / fully qualified to practice profession
  • diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
  • proven experience as an electrician
  • experience in industrial and or commercial electrical systems
  • demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools e.g. wire strippers voltmeter ect and electrical drawings
