Your Role & Key Responsibilities
Your Role:nThe Commercial Strategy Assistant Manager is critical for the Customer Development function, focused on representing the voice of Customer Development across the organisation, providing key integration touchpoints around commercial planning and governance, as well as supporting the category & channel strategy with its associated pricing and promotional policies for all customers in the UK&I. You’ll have full ownership of the 4P strategy for your brands and support in the delivery across the wider Elida portfolio. With the Customer and Category Development team rapidly growing, this role offers a great opportunity to make an impact and develop within the business.
Your Responsibilities :nStrategy & VisionnOwnership of the 4P strategy for your brandsnProactively monitor changes in the market and with competitors to align the ongoing strategy with new demands from customersnWork closely with the innovation team to input customer and channel needs into the innovation funnel, and ensure this is brought to lifenSupport activity planning following up
on
the key activities/key customer issues with sales teamnSupport key accounts to ensure customer launch plans are optimal and shapes distribution targets
OperationalnMonitor the promo strategy & guidelines for each brand & communicate it to Customer Development teamsnSupport the Joint Business Planning process with the sales teamnWorking with finance & Sales controllers to proactively manage the forecast with the sales team including performance reporting & under/over delivery managementnAnalysis of sales data to determine ROI key learningsnAnalysis of trade spend to monitor investment vs forecast and to proactively look for opportunities to optimise
Skills and Experience
Must haves:nAt least 2 years of working experience in data insights, reporting, customer or commercial rolesnStrategy and commercial planning experiencenAdvanced ability with MS excelnStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitynDemonstrated self-starternA passion for the Beauty & Personal Care World
Nice to Have :nFamiliarity with the UK & I retail marketplacenExperience working in a start up / small business environmentnExperience in Beauty & Personal Care Industry / working with BPC brands
