We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to be part of the Property Plus Management Team, responsible for controlling multiple housing maintenance work streams and financial budgets of circa £23 million, to ensure our homes are well maintained.
The Role
The Property Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing a range of delivery work streams such as SHDF, responsive and planned maintenance, empty property works and cyclical programmes via a range of internal and external contract resources for “Special Projects”/ “One off jobs” that require a more hands on approach and involvement.
With substantial experience of managing building maintenance improvement and construction projects, you must have an excellent understanding of all areas of health and safety compliance with knowledge of building regulations and governing bodies overseeing works. You will have sufficient expertise in programme management as well as the knowledge and confidence to intervene if areas of sub-standard works are noted to ensure our tenants are in receipt of value for money services.
Excellent people management, communication skills and the ability to plan and organise work to tight deadlines are all essential requirements for this post.
Skills and experience required:
* Hold Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification (essential)
* Hold ONC / HNC in Construction (desirable)
* Experience in Contract Management in an operational and commercial role in construction / maintenance
* Experience of delivering to strategic and operational objectives within a construction company.
* Understanding of relevant Statutory Regulations relating to Housing providers
* Proven track record of project management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to car for business use
