Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
Ideal Candidates: Graduates, particularly those interested in Clinical Psychology, Youth Work, or those with care experience.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience in challenging and supportive environments, working with children who have complex behaviours. Key to success in this role will be your ability to communicate effectively and use de-escalation techniques when necessary.
What we're Looking For:
Personal or professional experience with children or young people (beneficial but not essential).
A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic approach.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching and support staff within Kempston schools.
Passion for helping children with special educational needs thrive.
Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant:
Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Ideally, you are based locally to kempston.
