Who are we recruiting for?


We are recruiting on behalf of a leading independent owner and operator of Floating LNG infrastructure. With a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability, our client plays a vital role in the global LNG supply chain, providing essential infrastructure solutions to meet the growing demand for clean energy.


What will you be doing?


  • Conduct the development and execution of investment strategies, including the identification and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities, capital investments, and joint ventures.
  • Oversee the M&A process, including deal origination, due diligence, negotiations, and post-merger integration.
  • Analysing financial statements, cash flow projections, and other financial metrics to assess company performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performing comprehensive market research to track industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the LNG market.
  • Developing reports and presentations summarizing market insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collecting, organizing, and analysing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and execution of new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.


Are you the ideal candidate?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in financial analysis, market research, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the shipping, oil&gas or energy sector.
  • Knowledge of the LNG industry and global energy markets is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
