My client are a specialist subcontractor delivering projects across the North West and wider areas. They have gained an excellent reputation for providing high quality services to a number of leading clients across the public and private sector. Sectors they work in include commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, sports, and industrial.
They have an opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on a range of newly secured projects across the North West. You'll be based in their Wirral office, visiting sites as and when required.
The role:
You'll be working on a range of exciting projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.Your duties will include Assisting with the below:
Reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
Evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes
Developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works to facilitate accurate project pricing.
CVR reporting.
Controlling financial aspects of projects.Requirements:
Minimum 1-3 years experience in the construction industry as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Benefits:
