Senior / Principal Infrastructure ArchitectnOur client is a technology consulting firm, due to rapid growth plans, they are looking for a Senior / Principal Infrastructure Architect.
The architecture practice houses a network of industry-leading professionals. As a practice, they deliver complex transformations, seamless cloud migrations and enterprise architecture definitions and management.
As the Principal Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and deployment of infrastructure servers, networks, and end-user devices. From conceptualisation to implementation, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and resilient architectures that empower clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:nLead the architectural design and development of infrastructure solutions.nProvide architecture leadership and support to infrastructure teamsnConduct comprehensive assessments of clients' existing infrastructure landscapes, providing strategies and roadmaps to improve the existing infrastructure systems.nProvide Assurance - Reviewing architectural designs, ensuring they have been implemented correctly from an infrastructure perspective – assuring changes are low risknDevelop plans for procurement and implementation of infrastructure.nProvide direction to teams on implementing technical solutions and methodologies to achieve desired outcomes.nOffer resolutions to intricate issues arising in network programs and projects.nGuarantee readiness for disasters; establish technical resilience i.e. implement secure backup and recovery procedures to safeguard against system disruptions.nRegularly engage with business stakeholders to monitor, document, and report on projects
Current experience will include:nYou will possess a meticulous approach to problem-solving.nProven experience supporting highly critical servicesnEnd-user devices / Backup as a service (BaaS)nServer Virtualisation / VMWavenKubernetes (highly desirable)nEfficiently interact with clients to ascertain project goals and specifications.nKnowledge of data-centric operations and the components involved.nExperience dealing with major incidents and outages.nKnowledge of networking concepts, cloud computing and principles
