Our Client is a leading manufacturer of decorative finishes used by both professionals and consumers.
To accelerate their development in the UK market they are looking for a Sales Manager who will accelerate profitable sales growth and increase their penetration in to Builders Merchants, Paint Shops, Decorators and Independent Retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acquire new customers and manage a portfolio of current customers
* Identify and develop new customer relations in line with business development plans/targets,
* Identify business opportunities and will work on resolving existing and/or potential challenges.
* Implement their commercial, sales and marketing strategy.
* Monitor sales against agreed targets and implement remedial actions where necessary.
* Co-operates with Technical Teams in educating customers on technical requirements of available product lines
* Promote company brand image and awareness,
* Monitor market intelligence: competitive positioning, new product trends, prices, market potential, market shares.
* Work in close cooperation with the distributors in the market, and pinpoints gaps, providing a sustainable solution.
* Report activities and sales plan execution
