The business boasts un-rivalled manufacturing capability based in Barnoldswick Lancashire, with a rich history of delivering high quality, innovative products across multiple customer channels serving both the retail and hospitality sectors.nThe business manufactures mattresses, divans, upholstered bed frames and headboards from the Barnoldswick site and offers a broad range of top of bed products. This wide portfolio enables Silentnight to offer a complete sleep solution to their commercial retail partners that are enjoyed by consumers nationwide.nWe're looking for a National Account Executive to join the team. Based in the North West of England, you'll work on a hybrid basis between home and our Head Office in Barnoldswick, Lancashire.
Key ResponsibilitiesnRevenue and margin responsibility, management and development of selected key accounts delivering profitable sales growth in line with account budget.nDevelopment and execution of customer joint business plans in line with company and channel objectives driving revenue growth and market share.nWork closely with & support the Senior Account Managers in managing and developing relationships with key national accounts across both the Multiple and E-Retail channels.nWork closely with & collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including sales, marketing, product development, ensuring seamless execution of customer requirements.nCompletion of customer data requests and administration support.nMonitor and analyse company sales performance data, market trends and share data analysis working with internal teams to develop commercial propositions to deliver share gains and business growth.nPrepare and deliver sales presentations & proposals.nAssist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to achieve company financial and service targets.nBuild rapport, credibility & trust with internal and external stakeholders.
Professional Experience/QualificationsnThe successful candidate will have previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service with a demonstrable track record in:nStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsnAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentnExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailnAn understanding of the UK retail market across Multiples and E-Retail channels.nExperience of P&L managementnA growth mindsetnProficiency in Microsoft BI an advantagenThe candidate will also require the following attributes:nAutonomous & pro-activenPassionate, creative and innovativenHands-on, careful with detail and also able to have a strategic approachnTeam playernResults drivennThrives in a high performance culture
