An established events organisation is expanding the team and seeks an experienced sponsorship sales person to drive new business for their upcoming event in Europe. This role requires a proactive 'hunter' mentality, skilled in securing new partnerships and deals. You'll excel at independent lead generation, leveraging insights and building new relationships to expand the client base.

This is an opportunity where there is loads of scope for achieving targets and being rewarded well in commission as a result. It's in an enjoyable, relatable B2B sector. You will ideally have an interest in new technology.

Responsibilities:nAchieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed individual sales targets.nIdentify and Convert Opportunities: Proactively seek and close new business prospects.nEntrepreneurial: Use various methods to identify growth areas and key prospects.nManage Client Relationships: Build strong connections with tech providers, from startups to industry leaders.nLead Generation: Independently source leads through networking and research.nCustomer Engagement: Respond promptly to inquiries and manage customer interactions effectively.nCRM Management: Utilise internal systems to track and report activities accurately.nEnd-to-End Customer Experience: Oversee client engagement from initial contact to event participation.nCollaboration and Industry Awareness: Work closely with colleagues and stay informed about industry trends.

Skills & Qualifications:nSales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales roles, preferably in events or related fields such as SaaS, BI or Media sales.nGoal-Oriented: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.nBusiness Development Skills: Strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.nClosing Skills: Proven ability to close deals within deadlines.nCommunication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.nDetail-Oriented: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.nAdaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.nWork Ethic: Strong commitment to professionalism and high standards.
