About the Role:
TimePlan Education is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that align with the national curriculum for secondary English.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, effectively managing student behavior to foster a conducive learning atmosphere.
Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Individualised Support: Identify and support students with varying abilities and needs, implementing appropriate interventions to ensure all students can achieve their potential.
Parent and Guardian Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and educational research.
Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and other support staff, to plan and deliver cohesive and comprehensive educational experiences.Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience: Proven experience in teaching secondary English in the UK is required. Experienced teachers are particularly encouraged to apply.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to empathize with students and understand their needs.
Commitment: A dedicated and committed approach to teaching, with a passion for fostering a love of literature and language in students.
DBS Check: Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.Benefits:
