£40,000 per annum
This is a work-from-home position but may require the SM to visit the client's home from time to time so the ideal candidate must be based locally.
TRC is working with a young and ambitious company that, within its first 2 years of operating, has positively impacted the lives of adults with Autism and learning disabilities living in their own homes.
They are continuing to do excellent work with two further clients based in St Austell. We are searching for an organised individual with excellent knowledge of Autism and great people skills.
The Role:
* Recruitment, retention, and engagement of your staff team(s)
* Leading the continuous professional development of your teams
* Undertaking regular quality supervisions, appraisals, debriefs, team meetings
* Undertaking regular staff observations (positive monitoring) and competency assessments managing staffing matters, including performance and capability in accordance with the company
* Care’s hr policies and advised processes
* Managing rotas and time sheets for the service in line with procedures
* Complete a minimum of 12 hours per week directly supporting the individual
* Identifying and developing talent for succession planning
* Undertake senior support worker, team leader and support worker duties where applicable.
* Cover shifts where there is a shortfall within the rota and no cover can be found
* Be part of the company on-call system outside of normal operating hours
* Liaising with the responsible housing provider for repairs and maintenance
* Leading on health and safety responsibilities as determined by the partnership with the housing provider (fire alarm checks etc.)
