Contract: 11 Months
Salary: £12.59 per hour
Location: Vauxhall, London
5 day's work setting:
Working pattern: Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm / 10am - 6pm - Flexi time)
This is a temporary contract role until August for a Security Support role with an immediate start date (Security Clearance dependant) for an Eleven -month duration with a possible extension offering an office setting and a London location (Vauxhall).
Job Description:
This is a brilliant opportunity to work on behalf of our government client. The ideal candidate has to be process driven and have a good eye for details, you will be joining a pivotal function in the business who is responsible for fraudulent and counterfeit money and having a strong data entry skill, to provide accurate reading.
Responsibilities include: -
oExamination and analysis of counterfeit currency received from Scottish and Northern Irish banks, utilising specialist document examination equipment to classify the notes.
oCreation and maintenance of records on the counterfeit currency database.
This particular post (vacancy) relates to the Receipt, Processing & Analysis of suspected counterfeit bank notes relating to Scottish & Northern Irish bank notes recovered from wholesale bank note processing.
Requirements of role
Attention to detail
Good data input skills (speed and accuracy)
In house training / mentoring will be provided by experienced staff in relation to the determination of counterfeit / genuine status of the bank notes received for examination and the use of the bespoke counterfeit currency database where the information about the notes is recorded
Relevant / desirable previous experience
Wholesale bank note processing at a cash centre (e.g. G4S, Vaultex, Loomis)
Retail banking experience
'Back office' banking experience for a retail group.

Please be informed if you are successful, the client will need to run a Security Clearance prior to starting, and communication needs to be consistent with the compliance team including DBS checks and references.
