DP Business Events is seeking a dynamic B2B Sales Executive to join our team and drive the success of our premier Health & Fitness Forum event. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established meet-the-buyer events company and make an impact in the health/fitness/gym sector.
About Us:
DP Business Events has been at the forefront of organising high-impact B2B events for 21 years, specialising in creating valuable networking opportunities across various sectors including Hospitality, Hotel, Healthcare, Interior Design, Logistics, Transport, and now Fitness.
These B2B events are hosted at luxurious hotels in The UK and in EU. The events run over 2 days and 3-day durations and will include very senior level executives and range in size from 130 to 250 delegates.
The Role:
As a Sales Executive focused on our Fitness Forum events, you will leverage your sales expertise to engage with companies within the fitness, gym and heath industry. Your role will be pivotal in connecting these businesses with key buyers and influencers attending our events.
The event format is called ‘Meet the Buyer’; which puts suppliers directly in front of senior buyers from leading companies so supply deals and opportunities can be discussed and agreed. Delegates meet in one-to-one appointment sessions and are all based at the same location so for the total duration of the event they can concentrate totally on winning orders and doing deals. These events are facilitated and hosted by our client. There are endless numbers of leading companies and brands who attend.
Your job as a Sales Exec is to use your sales skills to win the attendance of companies who want to attend to meet and do business with the attending buyers at the event. You will research the market, use Google/Linked-In and more, build pipelines and sell via phone to these companies, informing them of the full features and benefits of attending and then close the sale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Focus: Use your sales skills to attract health, fitness and gym companies to participate in our Fitness Forum events.
* Market Research: Identify and approach potential clients using tools such as Google and LinkedIn, and build a robust sales pipeline.
* Pitching & Negotiation: Present the benefits of our events to potential clients, negotiate packages, and secure their participation.
* Account Management: Manage your own client accounts, develop relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.
* Event Engagement: Attend events to understand the environment and ensure successful outcomes for your clients.
The Candidate:
* Sales Experience: Proven track record in a senior sales or telesales role, ideally within the fitness sector or related industries.
* Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Negotiation Skills: Confident in pitching ideas and negotiating terms.
* Pipeline Management: Demonstrated success in building and managing sales pipelines.
* Customer Service: Strong skills in maintaining and growing client relationships.
* Repeat Business: Understanding of the value of repeat business and client retention.
