Senior Pricing Analyst/Pricing Manager - Hybrid/Bristol
Senior Pricing Analyst/Pricing Manager
Location: Broadmead, Bristol
Remuneration: £50k-£80k depending on experience
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid Working Model (two days in the office) ✅
Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced analysis of insurance data using mathematical and statistical techniques to inform pricing decisions.
Identify and explore opportunities for pricing adjustments that enhance business and customer value.
Develop and maintain performance projections, providing solutions to meet business targets.
Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to answer business questions.
Innovate and create data assets through proof-of-concept solutions to improve current processes.
Present pricing insights to stakeholders from various business areas.
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering their development.
Collaborate with the Pricing team and other business areas to drive performance improvements.

Key Skills and Experience:
To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in insurance pricing, particularly in motor or home insurance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders from commercial and financial areas.
Proficiency in building narratives with data and making data-driven business recommendations.
Experience with software tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and efficiently prioritise tasks.
Comfort with stakeholder engagement and strategic pricing decisions, with minimal modelling (approximately 20% of the role).
