Job Requirements of this Teaching Assistant job in Lichfield
We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant , Level 3, to join a PRU school in Lichfield. Ideal candidates should possess:
Qualifications or Certificates:
Relevant qualification in education or related field (Level 3).

Enhanced DBS clearance.
Experience:
Previous experience working in a PRU or alternative provision setting is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils, including the provision of specialist skills.

Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour and additional needs.

Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures.
Brief Overview of the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching staff and contributing to the development and education of pupils within a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit). This role requires dedication, passion, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the students. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to inspire and motivate young people, helping them reach their full potential. This is a fast-paced and challenging yet highly rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young people.
