SF Recruitment are currently working with a multinational manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Graduate Finance Analyst to work on plant and product cost control.
This role will suit a graduate who has gained some experience in finance since graduating or during a placement year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks:
Plant performance reporting
Unit cost calculation
Material controlling
Maintaining standard costs.
Plant Performance Reporting:
Prepare and analyse monthly reports
Calculate efficiencies and conduct follow-ups
Prepare and analyse forecasts and business planning
Serve as the first point of contact for competent and reliable discussions on Plant Controlling issues
Conduct regular review meetings with plant management
Business Partnering for Production:
Production performance (e.g. efficiency)
Monitoring headcount based on targets and production volume development
Deep analysis on overhead spending
Presentation of results to local Board of Management
Product Cost Calculations:
Calculate costing rates per unit
Material Cost Controlling: prepare material cost planning for the Business Plan in close cooperation with the Purchasing Department
Analyse material ratio and economics
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain accounting views, standard costs and cost rates in ERP system
Process Engineering Change Requests
Full training and study support will be provided.
Hybrid working - 3 days in the office
