Role Overview
Join our clients Customer Services team as a Technical Author. You will support daily aircraft operations, ensuring customer satisfaction by managing the systems for all commercial aircraft programs. Your role includes assessing and managing technical changes to ensure safe maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate Technical Data authoring activities.
Ensure manual content delivery meets specifications and regulations.
Provide prompt customer support and manage queries.
Assess aircraft design changes affecting maintenance data.
Manage subcontractors and monitor their activities.
Identify and resolve issues affecting manual updates.
Conduct quality assurance assessments.
Interface with customers and stakeholders.
Drive innovation in Technical Data documentation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of aircraft maintenance, operations, and technical documentation.
Proactive, organized, and a good team player.
Customer-driven with a creative and innovative mindset.
Experience in project management and working with customers under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with new technologies and digitalization.
Experience in subcontractor and stakeholder management.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of Fuel Systems.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete BPSS clearance via the organisation before start and will be required to gain an SC clearance.
