The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership and management over the day-to-day functions within the Payment and Control team. Management experience is essential, ideally within Financial Services/Wealth Management.
Key Responsibilities may include;
Ensure real-time escalation of any possible operational risks/incidents/errors/ to Head/Deputy Head of OperationsnIdentify opportunities in streamlining workflow and improve processing efficiencynEnsure the daily and monthly Income payments are paid correctly through the automated standing order process.nReview outgoing payments and add relevant payment information in accordance with the country’s requirementsnEnsure all payment requests are actioned with appropriate payment authority working with areas across the business.nMonitor payment queues throughout the day ensure all currency deadlines are met.nAuthorise payments to custodian and ad-hoc payments according to deadlines.nCheck all deposit redemption monies due on a daily basis and run the automatic process to post relevant accounts.
