We are looking for a dedicated assistant Head Chef to join our client's team, serving 72 residents with care and excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing dysphagia-friendly meals, ensuring all dietary needs are met with delicious and nutritious food. This role offers a balanced work schedule with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and includes alternate weekends. Join us in providing exceptional dining experiences to our residents.

Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
Plan and create menus that align with nutritional guidelines and seasonal availability.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' dining experiences are pleasant and fulfilling.
Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
Participate in events and special occasions by preparing themed meals and catering services. What They're Looking For:
Experience: Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a care home, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills with the ability to create a variety of dishes, including special diets.
Passion: A genuine passion for cooking and providing excellent dining experiences.
Team Player: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
