Location: Head Office - Enfield, Middlesex


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Coordinator to join our Head Office team. The Bid Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the production of quality proposal documentation such as EOIs, RFIs, PQQs, and ITTs.


The Bid Coordinator will also be responsible for administrative tasks relating to proposal submissions and assisting the wider Preconstruction team.


Key Accountabilities to include but not limited to:

  • Administrative tasks relating to the collection and logging of tender information for distribution
  • Support with compiling detailed bids, including the gathering of necessary data from proposal contributors such as Estimators, Planners, Preconstruction Managers and wider teams
  • Support the creation of bid documents related to kick-offs and settlements
  • Consolidate documents developed by other team members into the required tender format
  • Maintain and administer a library of reusable written content, templates, and processes to maintain efficiency across submissions
  • Supporting post-bid activities such as presentation creation and information logging
  • Work alongside the Proposal Lead to assist in the monitoring and logging of opportunities through procurement portals
  • Undertake other administrative duties which may contribute to supporting the wider office team and its directors
  • Deputise in the absence of the Proposals Lead to maintain proposal submission availability


Experience/Knowledge:

Essential Criteria :

  • GCSEs, A-level or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working within a bid team
  • Experience in producing draft proposal responses
  • Competent in Microsoft office suite, including PowerPoint, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams


Desirable Criteria:

  • Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject, such as Marketing and/or English
  • Experience of working with bid submission and procurement portals
  • Construction industry experience
  • Adobe editing experience


Skills:

As a Proposals Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the preconstruction phase of potential projects. This includes supporting the Proposal Lead, and the wider bid team, in preparing and submitting competitive tenders for construction opportunities.


You will have proven:

  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Relationship building skills
