Mobile Vehicle Diagnostic Specialist– Bury St Edmunds 
  

Our client is a vehicle diagnostics company in Norwich, and they are looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Diagnostic Specialist for Bury St Edmunds. This is a more unique role in the motor trade so, if you are looking for something different in the trade but still would like to be around cars, this maybe the job for you

  • Basic up to £40,000 per annum 
  • 5 days a week
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
  • 30 minute lunch
  • Company pension
  • Health & wellbeing programme
  • Experience of using the equipment is not necessary as full training will be given to ensure you are fully qualified before working on your own.
  • You will have use of a Company Van, Mobile Phone & all equipment to carry out the role and salary will be negotiable depending on experience along 
 
Key responsibilities for this Mobile Vehicle Diagnostic Specialist role:
  • This position will require driving to businesses throughout the area to carry out specialist Diagnostic & ADAS Calibration work.
  • Also you will be required to carry out basic wiring repairs to manufacture standards.
  • You will have a good understanding of using various manufacturers diagnostic equipment as well as using car manufacturer dealer diagnostic equipment.
 
Minimum requirements for this Remote Vehicle Programming Specialist are:
  • Experience of working in a Main Dealer environment is desired for this role, but not mandatory. 
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable with working alone and working in a methodical manner to identify faults and suggest rectification.
  • A clean driving licence is essential for this role along with a flexible working attitude.
  • As well as repairing vehicles remotely there will also be an element of in-person repairs.
  • You will be required to carry out work in their workshop.
