SQA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met during the new product introduction phase.nDevelop and implement supplier quality assurance processes for new products.nConduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.nWork closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.nMonitor and report on supplier performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.nSupport the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.nParticipate in design reviews and provide quality input to ensure manufacturability and reliability of new products.
Relevant Experience :nExperience in NPI and/or Supplier Quality Assurance or a similar role, preferably within the automotive sector, though other industries will be considered.nProficiency in APQP/PPAP processes.nExperience with various manufacturing processes and components (e.g., casting, machining, molding, assembly, fabrications) and measurement techniques.nUnderstanding of geometric design and tolerancing.nFamiliarity with quality systems, quality tools, and techniques.nEffective communication and presentation skills, with intercultural and interpersonal proficiency.nExperienced user of Microsoft Office.nFlexibility to support regular domestic and international travel to suppliers/customers (including EU and USA) and holder of a valid driving license.nEngineering degree or equivalent engineering education qualifications or experience.
Preferred:nKnowledge of automotive technology and product development.nAuditor training to ISO 9001.nKnowledge of IATF 16949 standards.nHands-on experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
