Project Quality/Validation Engineer Salary:
  • Up to £35,000
  • Position: Full Time, permanent
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and with exceptional quality. Your tasks will involve various aspects of validation and quality activities, primarily focusing on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Collaboration with suppliers and production teams to drive continuous improvement in the introduction of new products is key. Additionally, you will be actively involved in the design sign-off process and will work closely with other team members to address any design quality concerns. To thrive in this position, a profound understanding of industry standards such as WRAS, TMV2, TMV3, BS EN 200, and BS EN 1111 is vital. Responsibilities include overseeing that all quality procedures and control plans are in place for new products. Your expertise in manufacturing and production processes related to our product range will be crucial in delivering new products from initial stages to production.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time by managing validation and quality activities effectively for NPI projects according to project plans.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and production teams to enhance the implementation of new products.
  • Play a key role in the design sign-off process.
  • Investigate any design quality concerns in collaboration with other team members.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of industry standards including WRAS, TMV2, TMV3, BS EN 200, BS EN 1111.
  • Establish all essential quality processes and control plans for new products.
  • Create a detailed NPD validation handover pack for SQA before the 1st production order.
