Contechs is recruiting on behalf of its client whose mission is to drive technological advancements within the mobility sector. They are seeking an experienced EDS CAD Engineers who has a strong experience on harness design on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Leamington Spa

Job DescriptionnAs EDS CAD Engineers, your main responsibilities are:nCreation of 3D wiring Harness design (CATIA) according to the customer specifications and administration of the 3D CAD Data in the Product data management system.nRouting and Package Investigations to verify compliance with customer requirements (SDS).nImplementation of CAD installation investigations in consultation with the responsible project engineers in virtual vehicle installation spaces and preparation of the associated documentation.nDevelopment of design solutions and creation of design proposals according to the framework defined by the customer.nCreation of change templates/Mark-ups for the 2D wiring harness drawings.nAttend meetings and design reviews with the customer and other suppliers.nEnsuring the buildability and installability of the wiring harnesses (DFM / DFA)nCreation of installation sketches of the series product.nSupport of prototype builds of the wiring harnesses at the supplier and customers locally and at foreign countries.nDevelopment support at the customer's site locally and at foreign countries.

Skills Requiredn3-5 Years of specialist experience in the wiring system sectornAdvanced knowledge in 3D design and C3PNGnGood English language skills in spoken and writtennKnowledge of internal customer processes
