We are recruiting an Assistant Fund Accountant for the Fund Reporting team. The successful individual will assist in the day to day operations of the Montagu fund structures, while at the same time studying towards a professional accountancy qualification.

Role responsibilities:nResponsibility for cash management and banking administration; including payments, call back procedures, cashflow monitoring and preparation of bank reconciliationsnSupport monthly accounting for the various fund entitiesnAssist in the completion of routine audit and investor queriesnMaintain the investment management contact database and investor portalnParticipate in the onboarding of new investorsnAssist in implementing financial procedures, controls and system improvements to enhance efficienciesnVarious ad hoc projects to help the team achieve and maintain best practice procedures

The successful candidate should have:nRecent accountancy degree graduate or ATT graduate studying towards ACCA, with at least 1 years’ experience in an all-round Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeping rolenWell versed with CRMnBasic accounting/ fund accounting knowledgenProficient excel skillsnStrong verbal and written communication skillsnHighly organised and attentive to detailnEnthusiastic and motivated team playernAble to work to tight deadlines and flexible to meet shifting workloadnAble to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
