About the Role :

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Application & Extension Specialist to join their team. This role involves supporting their global operations by developing, optimizing, and integrating Oracle Cloud applications and extensions, ensuring top-tier performance and service excellence across a multi-national, multi-vendor environment.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage proactively with key business users to gather feedback, enhance system integration performance, and address any issues.
  • Collaborate with the DII Application & Extension Manager to gather requirements and prioritize projects related to data transformation.
  • Support development across Oracle Cloud services, focusing on API Management, APEX, VBCS, Kubernetes, Containers, WebLogic, and Database Schema Design.
  • Ensure Oracle applications and extensions meet industry best practices and Oracle’s security standards.
  • Manage capacity planning, technical documentation, design review, refactoring, upgrades, and lifecycle management for Oracle-based applications.
  • Establish proactive monitoring and alerting to maintain application availability and meet business demands.
  • Coordinate release schedules, manage environment activities, and resolve conflicts to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Manage incident response, problem resolution, and service request queues to deliver high end-user satisfaction.


Qualifications :

  • 8-12 years of experience in enterprise application development, with at least 2 years in Oracle Cloud application services.
  • Skilled in APEX, VBS, VBCS, Kubernetes, Kotlin for OKE, API development, and database solutions.
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing cloud application services within a multi-national company.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.
