Job Description
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and electrical work. You will ensure that our clients' facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, addressing basic plumbing and electrical issues as they arise.
Plumbing: Handle minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures.
Electrical: Conduct basic electrical maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, fuses, and wiring repairs.
Inspections: Carry out regular inspections of systems and equipment to identify any issues or potential improvements.
Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults across a range of building services, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and building codes.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Customer Service: Respond promptly to client requests and provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic plumbing and electrical systems.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of performing a variety of maintenance tasks.
Certifications: Relevant qualifications in plumbing and/or electrical maintenance (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) are advantageous.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Precision in carrying out maintenance tasks to ensure quality and safety.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various environments, including confined spaces.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
