Hobson Prior is seeking a Health Economist who can develop and communicate cost-effectiveness and budget impact models. The successful candidate will be able to provide input on model methods, data, and assumptions, and manage simpler projects independently or with an Associate Health Economist.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research, data collection and referencing.

- Provide input on appropriate model methods, data, and assumptions.

- Develop and validate models.

- Perform basic statistical analyses.

- Draft technical reporting independently, subject to senior review.

- Contribute to client communication and presentation.

- Manage small, simpler projects.

Key Skills and Requirements:

- MSc in Health Economics or equivalent.

- Experience in contributing to the development of model specifications.

- Experience in developing cost-effectiveness models, using a variety of model structures.

- Experience in contributing to the development of technical reports, user guides and health technology assessment submissions.

- High-level numeracy skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.

- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

- Proficiency in cost-effectiveness modelling and budget impact modelling in Excel.

- Ability to run simple statistical analyses in STATA.
