Monarch Education is looking for a compassionate and dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a friendly and welcoming primary school located in the NN3 area of Northampton.
The school are looking for a full time TA who can start as soon as possible to support a child with a hearing impairment. It essential that the successful candidate has previous experience with this need however, they do not need to be trained in BSL.
This is a full-time opportunity starting immediately and for the right candidate could lead to a permanent position.
As 1:1 TA you will be responsible for:
1:1 and small group work
Working alongside teaching staff to plan and evaluate as well as adjusting some learning and using intervention strategies when appropriate
Observing and monitoring the children and reporting back to the class teacher
Providing a nurturing and caring environment for the young personTo be successful in this role you must:
Have experience working with SEN students - Must have experience supporting young people with hearing impairment
Have a dynamic and positive work ethic
