Food and Beverage Team Leader - Bruton, Somerset

Due to the nature of the Estate, a driving license is required for this role 40 hours a week over 5 days, regular weekends required.

Our Team Leader

We are looking for a dedicated Food and Beverage Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our F&B outlet, The Hive. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining our high service standards. Your strong customer service skills will be key in creating a welcoming environment where our guests feel valued and enjoy their time with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Uphold and enhance our service standards to ensure every guest has a positive and memorable experience.

  • Lone Working: As the primary person in this role, you will often work independently. Strong self-sufficiency and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Stock Management: Oversee inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and all items are accounted for.

  • Presentation Standards: Ensure that The Hive and its surrounding areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

While you will sometimes receive support from team members across the gardens, the role involves significant lone working, so being proactive and self-reliant is crucial.

The Hive is an integral part of our Food and Beverage offering across our Estate. Based in our Four Seasons Garden, The Hive offers a refreshing resting point for our guests on their journey throughout The Newt Estate. Seasonality and locality are focus points for this 'grab and go' menu as well as key estate offerings such as our own estate cyder and freshly baked pastries.
