Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing
Hackney
Up to £50,000 + Car / Allowance
TS Recruitment are working with a Property Services / Social Housing Contractor who are now recruiting a permanent QS close to Hackney.
You will have previous QS experience coming from a Property Services / Social Housing Contractor or SME and a background in; planned maintenance projects; kitchens and bathrooms, windows and doors, roofing etc.
Responsibilities:
Manage the financial aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects meet their requirements.
Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
Manage project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity / Senior Surveyor, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Experience working within social housing on planned refurbishment / painting and decorating projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
