Unique opportunity to join a friendly laboratory support team, ensuring the smooth running/reduced downtime of laboratory equipment and performing analytical testing of pharmaceutical products with Chromatography systems
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and high-calibre Scientific Support Specialist to work with the Laboratory support team and alongside a team of analytical Scientists. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, service, calibration & maintenance of laboratory instrumentation & analysis of pharmaceutical products with a range of Chromatography instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working in a regulated analytical chemistry laboratory
* Hands-on experience with HPLC & UPLC instrumentation; ideally with experience diagnosing faults on the instruments
* Experience in an administrative/customer-facing role is desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Skilled in using Microsoft office packages, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
* High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
