Our client is seeking a hands-on CIO who has the ability to engage on short and long-term strategies whilst maintain and developing business critical IT operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Leadership: Lead, build and manage a global IT team. Provide strategic direction and leadership for the IT department, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals.
  • BAU Management: Ensure robust technical proficiency across a range of IT domains, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impact on business operations. Oversee the daily IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Salesforce Implementation: Lead the planning, deployment, and ongoing management of Salesforce, ensuring it meets the company's CRM and business process needs.
  • Digital Transformation: Detail and define a digital transformation roadmap, highlighting ongoing changes/progress. Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business operations and customer experiences.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions. Lead on change management, facilitating smooth transitions during IT system implementations, transformations, and organisational changes.
  • Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Continuous Development: Ensure the success of ERP projects by aligning them with business goals, simplifying them with automation platforms, (if possible) and evaluating them with KPIs.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and alignment with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Enhance the fortification of existing systems and data security protocols to uphold the utmost protection of company, client and customer data.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align key back-office department technologies to drive efficiency. Work closely with senior management and other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CIO or similar senior IT leadership role, with a track record of leading successful digital transformation initiatives, driving organisational change, and leveraging technology to enhance business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce implementation and management.
  • Expertise in CRM management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage BAU operations effectively.
  • Strong background in developing effective data and analytics systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting significant business scale-up initiatives on a global scale.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and deliver results.
  • Experience in budget management and financial planning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
