East Africa Travel Planner - Duties:
* Engage with potential clients via email, phone, and video calls to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
* Sell and design personalised travel itineraries in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, including safaris, cultural tours, beach holidays, and adventure activities.
* Sell and present customised itineraries across East Africa, accommodation options, and experiences tailored to each client’s interests and budget.
* Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by guiding clients through the sales process and addressing questions an
* Coordinate bookings for accommodations, transportation, activities, and local guides, ensuring seamless experiences from arrival to departure.
* Maintain updated knowledge of destination offerings, from luxury safari lodges to off-the-beaten-path experiences.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, with follow-up communication post-travel for feedback and relationship-building.
East Africa Travel Planner – Essential Requirements:
* TAILORMADE Africa sales experience within an established tour operator with strong knowledge of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
* Proven track record in sales with strong communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills.
* In-depth knowledge of East Africa’s attractions, culture, visa regulations, and popular travel routes.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bookings, timelines, and itineraries.
