The Company

The Role
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will define and guide the technology strategy, developing and managing technology roadmaps. The CTO will ensure alignment with customer needs and oversee innovation processes, filtering ideas based on return and customer demand.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing relationships with academic bodies and engineering agencies.
* Producing and reviewing product and technology roadmaps.
* Defining and overseeing IR&D project deliverables.
* Reporting on IR&D projects not linked to product upgrades.
* Managing Senior Technical Authorities and coordinating with senior management on technology strategy and future skills frameworks.
* Guiding the Rapid Prototyping Team and staying informed on relevant technologies.
* Supporting bids and business development activities.
* Mentoring engineering talent and supporting cost-saving measures.
* Acting as the customer voice in technology strategy and supporting CR&D opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

* Proactive, adaptable, and committed to safety and engineering excellence.
