Enterprise Risk Management Lead – Law Firm / Professional Services London (Hybrid) | Consulting Capacity We’re looking for a senior Enterprise Risk Management consultant/professional who can help leading law firms and partner-led organisations build risk management that actually works in practice - not just on paper. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, simplifying complexity and shaping how risk is owned across a business, this is a role where you’ll have real impact. What you’ll be doing You’ll work with senior stakeholders (including Partners, ExCo and Boards) to design, challenge and embed practical risk management. This includes: Developing risk strategy, risk appetite, maturity assessments and risk culture Designing, validating and enhancing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defence models Strengthening risk & governance frameworks , policies, procedures and controls Reviewing committee structures and Terms of Reference Building training programmes and capability development “Pressure testing” what clients already have and turning it into reality via operating models, processes and playbooks Embedding behavioural change in complex, partner-led environments What you’ll bring We’re keen to speak with people who can combine technical ERM expertise with practical delivery: ✔ Proven experience across ERM, risk governance and control frameworks ✔ Strong understanding of regulated environments - law firms, Big 4, consulting or FS/regulated industry ✔ Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and challenging constructively ✔ Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver at pace ✔ Exposure to GRC platforms such as OneTrust, Diligent, ServiceNow, LogicGate (Archer/Workiva also useful) ✔ A pragmatic mindset: someone who can translate frameworks into action, simplify complexity, and make risk management “stick” Who this is ideal for Someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and hands-on delivery.
