The school and role
A primary school in Tameside, are seeking a engaging and proactive Early years Teaching Assistant with SEN experiecne, to join their team. In return, the school can offer a friendly environment, with hardworking colleagues and a very supportive leadership team. The appointed Teaching Assistant will benefit from working alongside experienced members of staff and lots of opportunities for professional development. The successful Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in the reception class, you must have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and of SEN as the role will involve supporting children with additonal needs. Working with the class teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment and contributing towards IEP's. This is a full time role starting on the 2nd September.
Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
Have experience working in Early Years Foundation Stage
Have previous SEN experience
Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
