Deputy Home Manager

Responsibilities:
Promote our client's philosophy and values within the home
Ensure that the home meets regulatory standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Foster a secure, dignified, and private environment for each resident
Support residents in developing their skills and maximising their personal independence
Collaborate with the Home Manager in organising case reviews and medical assessments
Assist with the recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers
Provide regular supervision and support to staff members
Oversee staff rotas, annual leave, and disciplinary procedures
Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements and perform risk assessments
Support the Home Manager in managing finances and resources effectively
Cultivate positive relationships with relatives, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with knowledge of physical and mental illness in the elderlyRequirements:
Previous experience in a managerial role within the healthcare sector
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Passion for providing exceptional care to older adults
Commitment to promoting respect, choice, independence, and participationIn return for your dedication, our client offers a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, based on experience, along with 5.6 weeks of holiday (including public holidays). You will have the opportunity to work full-time hours on a permanent basis, with flexibility required for some weekend and evening shifts.
