Forklift Operator
£13.55ph increasing to £14.33ph after 3 months training, 33 Days Holiday, Night Shifts (Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6am), Free Parking, Pension, Opportunity to become permanent
Job Role
Due to several new orders from existing customers, this international supplier is needing to increase their workforce. You will join existing teams carrying out various tasks including:
assisting the production processes by operating Forklift and bringing products to and from the production line
recording relevant data
assisting colleagues with other tasks as required
keeping the warehouse and stores area clear and all stock stored correctly
adhering to all company procedures with regard to health and safetyRequirements
We would expect the successful Forklift Operator to have worked in a similar environment and be happy to work night shifts. You should be available to start immediately and be looking for ongoing, full time hours. Although this position starts on a temporary basis, there will be the opportunity for permanent contracts for those production operatives showing good reliability and a strong work ethic. You will have a good level of English, both verbal and written, with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will hold a current Counterbalance Forklift licence
