The Role: As a Regional Sales Manager for Amefa GB, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the designated territory, which covers the North of England and Scotland. This role requires a dynamic individual with proven sales experience, particularly within the Food Service and or Retail sector.


The primary focus will be to drive sales growth across an established account base of Food Service Distribution partners and leading cookware retailers. Amefa are regarded as one of Europe’s largest suppliers of Cutlery, Kitchen Knives, Steak and Buffet Utensils into some of the most prestigious Hospitality and Retailer brands in the world.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Territory Management:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts, both independent retailers and distributors, based on their potential for growth and alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Regularly visit existing and prospective clients to maintain relationships, introduce new products, and negotiate contracts.
  1. Sales Generation:
  • Drive sales by actively prospecting for new business opportunities and converting leads into accounts.
  • Utilise a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within independent retailers and food service distributors, including purchasing managers, chefs, and sales representatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to gather customer feedback and improve product offerings.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to kitchen knives, cutlery, and utensils.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats within the territory.
  • Adjust sales strategies and tactics as necessary to capitalise on market dynamics and maximise revenue growth.



  1. Reporting and Administration:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities using company software.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports summarizing performance metrics, pipeline status, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop forecasts, budgets, and sales initiatives aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales roles, preferably within the independent retail or food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally attend industry events or trade shows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
