The Opportunity
Our client are a data consultancy that provide data archiving solutions for their clients which include Twitter, Uber and Linkedin.
As a business - they monitor, preserve and analyse their clients sensitive data to ensure that important documents are securely stored that are not needed for the businesses day to day operations so realistically you would be working on the build of intricate security software which helps protect highly sensitive information.. very cool.
Hybrid
This role only requires you to visit their Manchester-based office once a month.
The What?
They are looking for a Senior Android Developer who's caveat is mobile security. You'll need the capacity to assist in delivering, supporting, and maintaining high-caliber Kotlin mobile products for a worldwide audience within an Agile environment. You will work closely with development and UI/UX teams on bug resolution, peer evaluations, automated testing and documentation. Your aim will be to essentially hack their Android app to guarrantee the highest level of security for their customers.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proficiency in crafting operational Android applications in Kotlin or Java
- Familiarity with contemporary app structures
- Google’s Android Studio IDE experience
- Git knowledge
- Experience in using mobile application testing tools...
- Created bespoke proof-of-concept application exploits utilising testing tools/frameworks or scripting exploits in languages like Python, Perl, JavaScript, Shell scripting, etc.
