Bid Manager

Our client are a Merseyside based renewable energy specialist operating across the UK. They deliver a wide range of energy efficient services including solar PV, heat pumps, internal and external insulation, electric heating, and decarbonisation.
They are now recruiting for a Bid Manager to join their business.
Key responsibilities to include:
Oversee the management of the SQ and Tender process to ensure client deadlines are met.
Develop and establish strategies and unique selling propositions to secure individual bids, using creative thinking and a deep understanding of client requirements.
Collaborate proactively with the business and supply chain to gather necessary information for crafting outstanding SQ and tender responses.
Conduct research and write responses tailored to meet each client's specific needs.
Organize and manage launch and mid-bid review meetings.
Demonstrate commercial insight and work closely with estimators.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants throughout the process.
Attend bidder conferences and dialogue sessions as needed.
Review bids thoroughly before submission.
Handle all post-tender clarifications in accordance with client timelines.
Prepare, manage, attend, and lead or support site visits to meet tender requirements and client expectations.
Work with the Business Development Director and Operations/Commercial teams to identify and brief the interview team on opportunities and submissions.
