You will oversee shifts and manage support workers,
Working in a welcoming nursing home, you'll enjoy flexibility with access to shifts that suit your schedule, including sleep-ins (Paid Per Sleep In). You'll play a crucial role in inspiring the team to ensure the people we support experience the best quality of life.
Requirements:
* Nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RNLD, RMN, or RGN)
* Confidence and composure under pressure
* Experience working with people with a learning disability
* Flexibility, openness to challenges, and innovative approach
* Clinical expertise or willingness to learn and undertake relevant clinical skills
* Ability to drive, with a willingness to use your own transport on Brandon business (desirable)
Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist nursing and be a role model in delivering direct support to individuals with a learning disability.
* Organize the day-to-day work of the support team, ensuring individuals receive the right support at the agreed-upon level and time.
* Support individuals in achieving their personal outcomes related to managing daily life.
* Carry out nursing procedures following local or district guidelines.
* Communicate effectively with team members, families, and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
* Collaborate with the nursing team to achieve the best outcomes for those supported.
