ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants or support workers who can support children in a SEN school in Fulwood.
You will be supporting children aged 5 -16 years old with varying needs from complex needs and non-verbal to moderate learning difficulties and autism. Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.
The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

· Minimum rate of pay - GBP95 per day
· Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience in a similar setting
· LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
· GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
