If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant specialising in SEN in Battersea, SW11
Role Overview:
As a Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant specialising in SEN, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with SEN. Working closely with our experienced teaching staff and SENCO.
Key Responsibilities as SEN TA:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
Adapt and differentiate classroom activities and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students with SEN.
Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support students' progress and well-being.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of students' progress, achievements, and behaviour, and contribute to the review and evaluation of support interventions.Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or a related field.
Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
A good understanding of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements.
